Payments and fees

Clear information about checkout, seller payouts, and marketplace fees.

Checkout

Payments are processed through Stripe. Manga Dumpster collects the customer payment and directs the seller’s portion to the seller’s connected Stripe account.

Marketplace fee

Manga Dumpster currently retains a 3% platform fee from the item subtotal. Stripe processing, refunds, disputes, taxes, and other payment costs may also apply to the platform or seller depending on the transaction.

Seller payout readiness

Sellers must complete Stripe identity and payout onboarding before their listings can be purchased.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Timing depends on Stripe and the customer’s bank.

Taxes

Taxes may be calculated at checkout when enabled. Tax obligations and rates vary by location.
